Transformers only

What We Buy

Every class of electrical transformer, at every rating from small dry-types to multi-MVA power units, in any condition. Nothing else — and that is deliberate.

A dealer who buys all surplus equipment has to price your transformer conservatively, because it is one line among hundreds. We buy transformers every week, we know what each rating and voltage combination is worth to the next owner, and we can commit to a firm cash number immediately.

01Paid Upfront

You are paid before the transformer leaves your property. No consignment, no waiting on a resale.

02No Testing Needed

We do not ask you to test, repair or clean anything. We evaluate the unit ourselves.

03Freight On Us

We cover the freight and the rigging. Lowboys, cribbing, permits and escorts are our cost.

04We Do Teardown

Disconnection, dismantling and removal are handled by our crews at our expense.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers

Do you buy anything other than transformers?

No. Transformers are the only equipment we purchase. That focus is exactly why we price them better than a general surplus dealer or a scrap yard.

What is the smallest transformer you will buy?

We buy from about 15 kVA upward. Small dry-types usually make the most sense combined into a lot so one pickup covers several units.

What is the largest?

We buy power transformers into the tens of MVA, including station and generator step-up units with radiators and load tap changers.

Do you buy transformers that are still installed and energised?

Yes. We quote them installed and coordinate the disconnect timing with your electrician or utility before pickup.

Have a transformer to sell?

Any class, any rating, any condition.
