Power transformers are the top of the market. New lead times run long enough that a used unit in serviceable condition has real strategic value to a buyer who needs capacity now, which is why we can pay well above scrap for them.
You are paid before the transformer leaves your property. No consignment, no waiting on a resale.
We do not ask you to test, repair or clean anything. We evaluate the unit ourselves.
We cover the freight and the rigging. Lowboys, cribbing, permits and escorts are our cost.
Disconnection, dismantling and removal are handled by our crews at our expense.
What we look for in power transformers
We buy generator step-up units, autotransformers, mobile substations and spare units that were purchased and never installed. Unused spares are the best case: full nameplate, known history, factory test report available, and no service wear.
For these units we want the test report if you have one. Turns ratio, winding resistance, power factor and a dissolved gas analysis all support a higher offer, but none of them are required for us to commit to a number.

Who handles removal?
We do, at our cost. That includes disconnection coordination, teardown, rigging, cribbing, permits and freight.
How fast can you pick up?
Usually within a week or two of agreeing on a price, and faster if you have a hard deadline like a demolition date or a lease expiration.
