Distribution Transformers Buyers

Pole-mount, pad-mount and single-phase distribution units, including bulk lots. We pay upfront and cover the freight, rigging and teardown ourselves.

Distribution transformers are the workhorse units at the end of the line: pole-mount cans, single-phase padmounts, and small three-phase units serving individual buildings. Individually they are modest; in quantity they add up quickly, and bulk lots are exactly what we like to buy.

01Paid Upfront

You are paid before the transformer leaves your property. No consignment, no waiting on a resale.

02No Testing Needed

We do not ask you to test, repair or clean anything. We evaluate the unit ourselves.

03Freight On Us

We cover the freight and the rigging. Lowboys, cribbing, permits and escorts are our cost.

04We Do Teardown

Disconnection, dismantling and removal are handled by our crews at our expense.

What we look for in distribution transformers

If you are a utility contractor, a co-op or a municipal utility with a laydown yard full of change-outs, we will quote the whole yard as one lot and take everything in a single move. Mixed kVA ratings and mixed manufacturers are fine.

Single-phase pole-mounts from 5 kVA to 167 kVA and single-phase padmounts through 500 kVA are all in scope, along with the three-phase padmounts that serve small commercial services.
