Do I need to have the transformer tested first?
No. Testing is never a condition of our offer. We assess the unit from photos, the nameplate and our own inspection at pickup.
What if the transformer is oil-filled or might contain PCBs?
We buy it either way. If the nameplate does not confirm non-PCB status we treat the unit as presumed-contaminated and price the correct disposal path into the offer. You are told plainly which category your unit is in.
When do I get paid?
Before the transformer leaves your property. Payment is not contingent on us reselling it.
